A short policy, because this site genuinely does very little with information.

This page describes this public website — the informational pages you are reading now. The Costume Crush product is still in private testing; when it becomes public, this page will be updated to describe it before it launches.
What this site collects
Nothing. As it stands today, this website:
- has no accounts and no sign-in;
- has no contact form, newsletter or email capture;
- processes no payments and never sees card details;
- runs no analytics service, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers;
- sets no cookies of its own.
What happens technically anyway
Two honest footnotes. Our hosting provider will handle ordinary web-server request data (such as IP address and browser type) in the course of serving the page, as any host does. And the page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's font servers; if you would rather it did not, a content blocker will stop it and the site will simply fall back to a system font.
If we add analytics later
If we ever switch on analytics, we will update this page to name the provider and describe what it receives before enabling it, not afterwards. The site's configuration keeps analytics off by default for exactly this reason.
What the product will do
When the Costume Crush discovery experience becomes public, it is designed to keep your quiz answers, your saved costumes and your learned preferences in your own browser using local storage, rather than on our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes them. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to.
Leaving Costume Crush
When you follow a link to a retailer, you are on their website and their privacy policy applies, not ours. We have no visibility of, or control over, what they collect.
Children
Costume Crush is intended for adults shopping for themselves, their families or their pets. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from them. Adult costume styles are shown in the product only after an age confirmation, and never in kid or pet mode.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
